Date: Wednesday, 7 November 2018
Kick-Off Time: 21:00 - Nigerian Time
Venue: Allianz Stadium (Turin).

Bianconeri maintained the perfect record in the group thanks to Paulo Dybala’s 17th-minute winner at Old Trafford.

It was a very pleasant evening for Juve’s fans who enjoyed their team’s dominance throughout most of 90 minutes of play on the occasion.

Juve are five points cleat at the top of the group standings after three rounds, while Man Utd sit second with a two-point cushion on Valencia who slipped up playing a 1-1 draw to Swiss champions Young Boys.

Juventus  —   Douglas Costa’s return from injury has been well timed to cover for the absence of Mario Mandzukic up front. Costa started the last league game – only his second league start of the season - with Federico Bernardeschi missing out. Emre Can is out injured, but Sami Khedira could be on the bench after being an unused sub at the weekend.

Manchester United  —   With Romelu Lukaku out of favour, Marcus Rashford could start against Juventus after his match-winning impact from the bench. With Lukaku not even in the match-day squad, Rashford replaced Juan Mata in the second-half – and Mata could be the man to drop to the bench. Alexis Sanchez started the game up front and could continue, while Fred’s place in midfield is under threat after both Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard made an impact off the bench on Saturday.

Juv  —   Two wins in their last two games means the 1-1 draw with Genoa, which preceded the 1-0 win at Old Trafford, remains the only match Juventus have not won this season. After Dybala scored the winner against Man United, Cristiano Ronaldo scored both goals in a 2-1 come-from-behind win at Empoli the following weekend. Last weekend, meanwhile, Dybala, an own goal and Juan Cuadrado ensured a 3-1 win at home to Cagliari. Juventus are six points clear at the top of Serie A and three clear in Group H.

Man United  —   After a four-match winless streak, United have won three of their last five games – including both since the 1-0 defeat to Juventus at Old Trafford. They returned to winning ways at home to Everton, as Paul Pogba scored the rebound after missing a penalty and Antony Martial’s goalscoring form continued in a 2-1 triumph. Last weekend, they trailed against Bournemouth but goals from Martial and a last-minute winner from Rashford ensured another 2-1 win.

Juventus (4-3-3): Wojciech Szczesny; Joao Cancelo, Leonardo Bonucci, Medhi Benatia, Alex Sandro; Rodrigo Bentancur, Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi; Juan Cuadrado, Paulo Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United  (4-3-3): David de Gea; Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw; Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba; Marcus Rashford, Alexis Sanchez, Antony Martial.

Juventus' win at Old Trafford last month was their sixth in 13 matches against United compared to the Premier League side’s five wins.

Juve have now scored 16 goals to United’s 15 thanks to Paulo Dybala’s strike at Old Trafford.

The last time they met was in 2002-03, when United has won both games in the second-phase group stage – triumphing 2-1 at Old Trafford and 3-0 in Turin.

Juventus 3-1 Manchester United   —   Juve are in superb form this season and, having already seen off Man United at Old Trafford, should have enough about them to seal another win – and top spot in the group – in Turin.
