"Cardiff Ruined My 70th Milestone Game" - Ndidi
Leicester City of England midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi has come out to admit he felt deflated to a large extent that his 70th milestone match in the English Premier League ended in defeat against Cardiff City.
Ndidi went onto last Saturday’s game in upbeat mood, hoping The Foxes would step up from their victory away to Chelsea the previous weekend, only to see them fall against the relegation battlers.

Ndidi acknowledged that it was a historic evening for him at King Power Stadium, but admits the amazing feeling he held was dampened by the loss to Cardiff.

Ndidi, though, acknowledged that he feels proud to have already made 70 appearances in the English Premier League with Leicester, since his arrival from Genk in January 2017.

Ndidi confessed:

It was so unfortunate that we lost the match that made it my 70th Premier League appearance.

It was quite amazing to know this was my 70th match appearance in the colours of Leicester City, it is like a dream come true.

But we lost to Cardiff at home as we were unable to convert our chances, that was our greatest undoing.

Before then we’ve won two good matches against more formidable sides, Manchester City as well Chelsea.

The Premier League is quite competitive, so playing every weekend is really something I cherish.

Playing week in, week out, I have to respect my job, that is the more reason why I usually put my very best each time I am on the field of play.
