Wolves To Rival Juve For Braga's Francisco Trincao

Wolves To Rival Juve For Braga's Francisco Trincao
English Premier League side Wolves have joined the battle for Braga striker Francisco Trincao.
The Sun says Wolves are trying to beat Italian giants Juventus and Inter in a £13.5million (N6.4billion) race for frontman Trincao.

The Portuguese starlet, 19, is Sporting Braga's prize asset but they are resigned to losing him to one of Europe's top leagues.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo rates the striker very highly and hopes the club, through sporting director Kevin Thelwell, can do a deal.

Juventus and Inter have been interested in the player since the summer.

But Wolves hope Trincao's links to agent Jorge Mendes, with their own close relationship to him, will sway things in their favour.

Trincao is a Portugal Under 20 star and won the golden boot in the European U19 Championships last summer.
