Femi Adebayo has released the trailer for the upcoming epic Netflix original film, “JagunJagun.”

Femi Adebayo, a multi-award-winning Nollywood actor and producer, has unveiled the official trailer for his upcoming JagunJagun (The Warrior), a new epic Yoruba movie on Netflix.

The actor is back with yet another action-packed epic Movie after his 2022 epic Agensikole (King of Thieves) garnered 8 nominations at the 9th edition of the AMVCA.

The actor stated his new project’s goal is to outperform Agensikole’s successes while posting the 2 minutes and 20 second long video clip to his official Twitter account.

He claims that while it initially looked difficult to top Agensikole, with the systems in place to produce JagunJagun, he is confident that his new initiative will succeed beyond Agensikole.

The goal was to outperform Agesinkole in all respects, he wrote. People kept asking, “WHAT ELSE COULD BE BIGGER THAN Ageshinkole?,” which made it nearly seem impossible. Well, it did occur. We surpass our benchmark!

We created a narrative with a didactic message on LIFE, POWER, PEOPLE, CHANGE, CHANCE, and PURPOSE. We created a tale that discusses the TWO crucial.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, we made JAGUNJAGUN! This movie made warriors of us; it called to our inner strength – and we answered. There is a fighter in all of us. What calls to your inner warrior?”

JagunJagun, which was co-directed by Adebayo Tijani and Tope Adebayo, is set to be released on Netflix on August 10, featuring top Nollywood actors such as Odunlade Adekola, Adebayo Salami, Dele Odule, Muyiwa Ademola, Fathia Balogun, Lateef Adedimeji, and Femi Adebayo himself, among others.

The film, which had birth as its central theme, will join other Yoruba-language Nollywood productions that are available on Netflix, including Anikulapo, Elesin Oba, and Ayinla.
