Shortly after revealing the title of his most recent film, “Orisa,” the outstanding actor posted a funny video of his cover on Instagram. The biggest epic opening film of 2023 and the highest-grossing Nollywood release of the year, “Orisa” has achieved extraordinary success, he said with pride.
Since its theatrical debut on July 17, 2023, “Orisa,” a movie that was wholly produced and directed by Odunlade Adekola himself, has racked up an amazing 27.6 million views. The actor shared the wonderful news of this accomplishment with his followers while jubilantly celebrating with them on his official Instagram account.
The actor ingeniously adopted Asake’s “Lonely at the Top” as a fresh marketing strategy for promoting his movie, which in turn sparked a tremendous response from the audience.
In the video, Odunlade was joined by three other guys who were wearing white clothing in addition to the traditional Yoruba clothing known as Aso Oke. The trio supplied symphonic supporting vocals while he took the lead in singing the tune. The engaging performance attracted a sizable audience and provided extra appeal to the promotion of his film.
